Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
"The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even heard—they must be felt with the heart.”
- Helen Keller
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) can be used to treat older adolescents who have chronic suicidal feelings/thoughts, engage in intentionally self-harmful behaviors, or have Borderline Personality Disorder. DBT emphasizes taking responsibility for one's problems and helps people examine how they deal with conflict and intense negative emotions.
Family Therapy
Family Therapy focuses on helping a family function in more positive and constructive ways by exploring patterns of communication and providing support and education. Family therapy sessions can include adolescents along with parents, siblings, and grandparents.
